Hello
I'm using E2PDF to generate a PDF with Forminator form.
When I try to export the generated content in JPG, everything is fine, but when I try in PDF mode, a new window appears and nothing is created (even if I'm waiting 1 hour)...
Everything is green in debug mode. And I don't have any PDF in my folder (on FTP access)...
Any idea ?
Thanks

Hello,

1. Are you trying to export data to a PDF in the backend ("E2Pdf" → "Export" / "Create PDF")? Or is it failing in the frontend when the E2Pdf download URL is generated and clicked?

2. Does it also fail when using a private browsing tab?

3. Which browser are you using?

P.S. If the issue occurs on the frontend, could you provide the URL where we can test it? You can mark the message as private so only support can see it.

If the issue happens in the backend, you can alternatively submit a support ticket with access details to the WP Admin Dashboard here: [private], so we can log in and check it directly.
We would really appreciate your feedback at WordPress.org!

Hello,

1. Yes, I'm trying to export PDF in the backend, using E2PDF -> Export functionnality. This is where it fail.
2. I cannot use a private browsing tab, because I don't have rights to access this URL unless I'm logged in (I'm using AIOWPSecurity plug in)
3. I'm using Safari on MacOs. I've just tried with Chrome and it is OK :-)

If you need to investigate further more, I can give you an WP Admin access...

So the issue occurs only in Safari on macOS. Could you please let us know the macOS and Safari versions?

P.S. We assume the Private tab should still work, but you would need to log in to admin panel from it.
We would really appreciate your feedback at WordPress.org!

I'm running MacOS Sonoma 14.7.2 with Safari 18.2
I agree with the private tab on Safari ;-)

Thank you for the details. We will try to replicate the issue on our side, and as soon as there is any update, we will notify you.

P.S. We assume the "download" feature works as expected, or does it also fail?

P.P.S. As we understand it also fails in "private" mode.
We would really appreciate your feedback at WordPress.org!

Hello,

We just tested with Sonoma 14.7.4 and Safari 18.3.1, but unfortunately, we could not replicate the issue. It seems the issue may be related to a conflict on the website or within the browser.

Could you please provide us with access details to the WP Admin Dashboard here: [private], so we can check if the PDF works for us? If it does, the issue is likely caused by the browser or installed browser extensions.
We would really appreciate your feedback at WordPress.org!

I'll send you an Admin account access in private...

It seems that the issue is caused by a conflict between E2Pdf, W3 Total Cache, and OVH hosting. We have released a hotfix with RC version 1.27.22, which should resolve it.
