I am trying to use the attachment shortcode on the body of the emails but when I edit with HTML it gets the <p> tag I don't know if that has to do with this shortcode not working. I have tried to remove the <p> tag but every time I save it, it gots it again and when I send the email it doesn't show any attached file.

Hi,

"p" tags must not affect behavior of PDF attachment.

1) Recheck please if E2Pdf Template under ID 2 is activated
2) If you will add [e2pdf-download id="2"] shortcode to email message body, will it generate PDF download link?
3) Are you using any 3rd party "Mail" plugins with your WordPress installation?

We remain at your service.
We would really appreciate your feedback at WordPress.org!

Hi,
I am experiencing the same bug.

2. The "download" shortcode is working but only if "dataset" argument is specified. Otherwise, it will also not appear. In documentation, it is stated as optional, so it is little but confusing.

Anyway, the Attachment shortcode doesn't work even with the dataset argument present.

3. I am using only this simple mail plugin, which should not affect the email body. But the problem persists even if I deactivate it.

Another information that might help you is that the Attachment shortcode is working when I add it in source code using Forminator hooks.
