Hello E2Pdf Team,

Does E2Pdf support bulk download now? I read the following thread where it said this feature would be added by the end of 2nd quarter 2020.

We currently released RC version 1.18.00 which supports "bulk" export. You can follow the steps in the current topic to update the plugin:

P.S. Keep in mind please that this functionality is available only with "PRO" version.

Hi,

Thanks for the updates. I tried to use the RC version RC version 1.18.00 and it also included the bulk export. By using the shortcodes “[e2pdf-wc-product key="get_name" names="true"]” I can finally output the PDF with the name of the dataset. It is very handily and again thanks for the great effort!

I am not sure If it is my own problem or not, the bulk export seems very slow. I created an action for the export and wait more than 15 hours (from yesterday afternoon till today morning) but it only have the progress of 32/159. Each PDF is around 1MB. Do you have any suggestions of making the bulk export faster please?

Hi,

"Bulk" export also depends on how many visitors you have at your website as it uses WordPress cron due to the way it's working. Can you try to open some page on your website in the background and check if it will speed up PDF generation? It also depends on the server speed and PDF size. If you are using non "flatten" PDF to generate - we recommend setting "flatten" to "Yes" (if possible and acceptable).

P.S. We are gathering now feedback on the "bulk" export functionality and for sure it will be improvements. If it was generated 32 PDFs in 15 hours - it's slow. We will do more tests with heavy PDFs generation as by our tests it must generate PDFs much more faster.

Hi,

Thanks for the solution. After a day the bulk export is ready for my download. However the system shows an error message "There has been a critical error on this website. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions." when I tried to download the zip file.

Do you have any solution for the case please?

Can you please check your email or error.log and attach error message from it to next message.

Hi,

It looks like we could identify the issue with "zip" download. Can you please update the plugin to 1.18.01 and check if the issue still appears? If yes, follow please the steps in the previous message.
