I recently migrated my site hosting from Lightsail over to Digital Ocean (through Cloudways). I had to deactivate the plugin and delete it because I was having issues. Now I am able to install it again, but I cannot activate it. When I try to activate it, I get the following error:

Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.

Warning: mkdir(): Permission denied in /public_html/wp-content/plugins/e2pdf/classes/helper/e2pdf-helper.php on line 156
Can't create folder /opt/bitnami/apps/wordpress/htdocs/wp-content/uploads/e2pdf/

The folder it is trying to create (/opt/bitnami....) is the location at the old hosting and no longer exists. I contacting my new hosting provider and they couldn't fix it and said that I needed to contact the plugin developer.

Update: Not quite sure what I did, but it's working now. I had to make several changes within the Wordpress database and also deleting the plugin a few times which seems to have worked.
