For my input fields I edit the properties to make the border zero so the border doesn't appear on my form.

I have to do this with each input field.

Is there a way to change the default properties for the input field to set the border as zero?

Unfortunately not yet. We know about this problem and preparing mass elements properties edit + default properties which will make it much more easier to handle. As soon as this feature will be added, we will update thread with example how to use it.
