Hi,
I am able to setup an E2pdf template with %%example%% type field id names and able to get the pdf to send to my email for testing but, the %%example%% field ID's are not displaying the data in the pdf. I have tried many different correct field ID names but they don't seem to show up. Am I missing something. Thanks.

Using Divi Theme.

Can you confirm you have added the E2Pdf template name to the Divi Contact Form's "Admin label" setting? See image.
We would really appreciate your feedback at WordPress.org!

If "Admin Label" is set, can you also please clarify some other questions:

1. Which version of Divi Theme are you using? It it the latest version?

2. Are you able to see entries for export from "E2Pdf" -> "Export" and export entry directly?

3. Did you map fields manually or via "Visual Mapper"? If manually, can you try please map fields via "Right Mouse Click" on needed Template Field/Object -> "Map Field"?

4. Can you also please attach some example screenshots of Divi field (its label) and screenshot how it's mapped inside E2Pdf Template?

Hi and thanks for the ideas and info. I have attached three screen shots.
As mentioned it appears I have set things up correctly but will await your opinion.

1. Which version of Divi Theme are you using? It it the latest version? Yes, Version: 3.27.4

2. Are you able to see entries for export from "E2Pdf" -> "Export" and export entry directly?
I am not sure what this is or how to do this step.

3. Did you map fields manually or via "Visual Mapper"? If manually, can you try please map fields via "Right Mouse Click" on needed Template Field/Object -> "Map Field"?
I used the auto pdf feature and it added some but not all of the field ID's. The field ID's that do show up appear correct. I then manually added a few field ID's and double checked and they all appear correctly entered.

4. Can you also please attach some example screenshots of Divi field (its label) and screenshot how it's mapped inside E2Pdf Template?
screenshots attached.

It seems that setup looks correctly. It could be issue connected with: you have 2 Forms under same admin label or it can be cache issue.

Try to click on any field with "Right Mouse Click" and "Map Field" (screenshot 1). It must appear Popup with form fields. If you do not see there all fields, try to change "Admin Label" and reconnect "E2Pdf Template" and do the same action. You can reconnect form via "Options". (screenshot 2).

P.S. Regarding "E2Pdf" -> "Export" (screenshot 3).

I deactivated and reactivated the template. - no luck
This is the only form of its kind on the site.

Regarding export option. I only see one template but, multiple choices of the same name for the Database to export so not sure if that's an issue? So I have not fully moved forward, hoping you can confirm what I should look at next.

?-Do i use the Template Name or the Template Item Name for the Admin Label?

"E2Pdf" -> "Export" is just feature so you can export entries to PDF directly via "Admin Dashboard".

Can you try please to change "Admin Label" (screenshot 1) of form and reconnect "E2Pdf Template" to new form via options (screenshot 2) by choosing "Item" to changed "Admin Label".

After this, click please on any field with "Right Mouse Click" -> "Map Field". (screenshot 3). It must appear popup. Please attach screenshot or let us know if you see there all fields.

If all fields shown there, try to add missed fields, map them and test your form if data of new fields not missed.

Here is also video example how "Visual Mapper" works and how to map fields:

I performed the export action (Screenshot 1). I saw multiple options to choose for the database to export. (Screenshot 2). Sent a test with no changes in the results.

I then followed your instructions and right-clicked a field for the map field button on the "Edit Template" page and I was able to see what appears to be all the data in the visual mapper, setup and structured how I would like it to see it in our PDF. (Screenshot 3)
I then clicked each field that is showing up and mapped each field, updated, and sent a test with no luck. Still just seeing some title information without map field data or input data in our pdf. (Screenshot 4)

Screenshot 5 - Template Page Preview
Screenshot 6 - Admin Label Preview

Thanks again for the ideas and help. Seems like we are getting close if I can see the data in the visual mapper on the edit templates page but for some reason after mapping those fields in the tests are not showing any data still in the pdf sent by email.

Can you please try to set Template "flatten" option to "Yes", save template and check if fields will appear? (screenshot attached).

That appears to have worked. Thank you. I still need to add all the fields desired and hope they all show up but, the ones setup so far just showed up in the .pdf correctly. Thanks again for your help. I will advise if any other issues getting it finalized. Appreciate the help.

Actually it would be nice if what showed as the layout in the Visual Mapper would show up on the pdf by way of directly using how the Visual Mapper is showing it. Any advice on how to do that or just need to customize the "Edit Template" page as desired?

It looks like the problem in your PDF viewer. Can you let us know which software are you using for viewing PDFs please? If PDF "flatten" option is set to "no", fields will remain editable and your viewer seems doesn't recognize it by some reason. If PDF "flatten" option is set to "yes" - it's showing as "read-only".

Unfortunately PDF format doesn't support all "html" features. We have "Auto PDF" option which trying to convert forms as close as it possible but there are still things that must be improved. At current moment only "Edit Template" or using prepared PDF in other editor can be solution to show data as you need.
