I use the Query Monitor plugin in WordPress to troubleshoot site issues frequently. I noticed this morning on a page that loads a PDF into the view, that there are almost 2,000 duplicate queries shown for this particular PDF that is loading. I attached a screenshot showing this. Looking through the list, the Callers are mostly labeled Model_E2pdf_Element->get_elements() or Model_E2pdf_Element->load(). I don't recall seeing this before, so maybe something with a recent update has caused this duplication.

Hi,

Last updates must not affect anyhow the number of queries. When you are using shortcode inside "View" with list of entries - it loads each shortcode via "foreach" and it can cause duplicate queries.

We are continuously working on optimization and this will help us to investigate issue and try to optimize requests to avoid unnecessary loads. Thank you for notifying us.

Hi,

We just released an update (1.07.05) which has "Cache" support. Option is turned on by default. It must solve issue with duplicate queries.

Thank you for the update. I looked at 3 of my form entries (all using the same form template), and all 3 showed only 1 duplicate query related to the plugin, which I attached a screenshot of (this same duplicate query appeared on all 3 tests).

I just check about half a dozen PDF entries and none of them showed the duplicate query anymore! Thanks!
