Hi, if my users input chinese characters in formidable form, is it possible to merge to a pdf sheet with e2pdf based on these chinese characters? I tried to do so but it doesn't seem like e2pdf recognizes chinese characters from formidable form.

Hi,

We didn't get any complaints yet about chinese language. Can you try please to use "Font" which supports "Chinese" characters, as default Noto Sans Regular doesn't support it. You can upload it at "E2Pdf" -> "Settings" -> "Fonts" and set it as default font under E2Pdf Template.

Hi,

E2Pdf does not limit upload font size, however it depends on your PHP settings. You must increase upload_max_filesize and post_max_size with your php.ini to increase it.

Hi,

Use please CJK font https://noto-website-2.storage.googleapis.com/pkgs/NotoSansCJKtc-hinted.zip instead of simple Noto Sans Tc.

We just made some tests and it seems working correctly.

P.S. Note also please that by default this font not includes Latin characters, so if you will need to use Chinese + Latin characters then it must be used another font. We know that Arial Unicode MS supports it, however we just tested also Sazanami-Hanazono Mincho font from that list (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_CJK) and seems also works without issues.

Let us know please if you were successful with tests. Thank you.
