Hi there,

Oleksandr, your support was so fab yesterday that I went ahead and invested in E2Pdf - it's amazing so thank you!

I just need a bit of help with one thing... basically I want to wrap the text in a paragraph when it shows on the pdf rather than having it all in one line. How would I achieve that? I looked on the forum but couldn't see anything, and I looked in the admin panels and couldn't see it either. I have mapped the field and made it the dimensions I want it to be, it's just the text pulls through on one long line.

Look forward to hearing from you soon.

Many thanks!
Rebecca

Hi, thank you.

It looks like you are using "input" field instead of "textarea"/"html" and it supports only one line. Replacing field with "textarea" or "html" must solve the issue. (Screenshot 1 and Screenshot 2).

To check which type you are using just "Right Mouse Click" on field that you have and check which field type used. (Screenshot 3).

If replacing field will not help, attach please screenshot your E2Pdf Template how this field is visible inside editor and let us know please which Gravity Field you are trying to map. Thank you.

thank you - seems to have done the trick. One quick question- is there a way to make the fields transparent, and in the php file at the moment they show up as grey even though I have put a cream colour background?

thanks!

It's due the PDF remaining editable and fields highlighted depending on PDF Viewer. To make it read-only and turn off highlighting just set "flatten" option to "Yes".

Hi Oleksandr,

Thank you once again for your speedy response!

That works however when I flatten the image, the fields are no longer editable and I need to add copy to two of them, as well as have the ability to edit the aforementioned text area field...

Is it possible to do this and not have the grey fields?

Thanks!

Unfortunately it's not possible as setting is depending on viewer. There is some custom way with JavaScript for Adobe Acrobat reader via JavaScript but other viewers can ignore it and currently JavaScript doesn't supported by E2Pdf.

You can make only some fields read-only by clicking "Right Mouse Click" -> And check "Read-Only" checkbox under "Settings" section for needed fields. Editable Fields will remain highlighted.
