Hi
a] Is it possible, to have a form completed in Caldera - the data obtained from that form be merged into a word or pdf document?
eg a contract of sale: the form asks buy name, seller name, price etc etc and then that data merged into the sale contract for delivery to customer.

b] I am using wordpress and would like the end result as a pdf or docx to be stored in my customer wordpress account for download/access at later dates if desired. Can the merged document file be made available to woocommerce/wordpress ?

Think online laywer office, collecting customer info to complete online forms for sale and download.

Thank you.

Support
Hi,

a] Yes, it's possible. Actually directly for this our plugin was designed.

b] Unfortunately we do not yet offer direct support to output "download" links for woocommerce/wordpress page from Caldera Forms but in theory it's possible to complete if you are familiar with "PHP" coding and wordpress structure. This functionality is under ongoing development and as soon as it will be ready and tested we will include it in update.

At this moment it will be need to connect "user" entries and dynamically output shortcode:

[e2pdf-download id="1" dataset="2"]

* where "1" is E2Pdf Template ID connected to needed form and "2" is "Entry ID" of Caldera Forms entry.

P.S. Some Demo with "Caldera Forms" can be found here. By the way you can just download our plugin for Free to test it as we do not limit any functionality except limit of "Activated" E2Pdf Templates and number of pages inside Template with "Free" version.

We remain at your service.

We would really appreciate your feedback at WordPress.org!
