No download link appearing

Others have also reported this problem. I place a download shortcode of [e2pdf-attachment id="2"] in my Wordpress page where my form redirects to but no link appears. Advice to others says I must include a dataset but your documentation says dataset is optional. Also the default is current user which is good for me. Otherwise what dataset do I use? Can you help please?

It looks like you are using incorrect shortcode. To generate download link you must use:
[e2pdf-download id="2"] shortcode.

If link will still not appear, recheck if you connected E2Pdf Template to correct "Item" under "Options".

Apologies, I was using the correct shortcode [e2pdf-download id="2"] and I have connected the correct Item under Options, but still no download link appears.

If E2Pdf Template also "Activated", can you please share the link to WordPress post if possible and screenshots: with "Options" as above and how shortcode placed inside page so we can check if all is set correctly.

Also, are you able to export post directly from backend via "E2Pdf" -> "Export"?

Thanks for your advice. I used your first method, even though I understand how the second method would work. It seemed simpler to do it this way. It now works perfectly. Thanks for your assistance.
