Pdf creation

Hi there,

before buying the plugin I've got a few questions to ask.
I'm using Formidable Forms and I need to create a pdf of an entry from a specific form: if I update from the back end, will the pdf be updated and included in the new notification sent to the user? And also, will it be then available for the download on a random front-end page?

If the length of the text typed into a field is longer than the size of the field itself, will the field change size automatically?

1. If I update from the back end, will the pdf be updated

No, PDF will not be updated. If you will be using pre-made .pdf, it will be need to add new fields/options to PDF, re-upload to E2Pdf template, and map new fields. If your are creating PDF just with Visual Editor - then it will be need to create new fields/options inside E2Pdf Template, map new fields and save template.

2. Will it be then available for the download on a random front-end page?

Yes, as It's possible to use [e2pdf-download] shortcode inside Formidable Forms Views.

3. If the length of the text typed into a field is longer than the size of the field itself, will the field change size automatically?

No. PDF fields have fixed sizes, and positions inside E2Pdf Templates using "absolute" positions.

We plan to add "relative" elements, which will allow have fields with auto size by "height" and affect other elements, but I can't tell you the time when this feature will be released.
