Is it possible for the download file to dynamically match the invoice number? Please see image attached which show the shortcode used in the Details Page for FromidableFroms.

Yes, two ways are possible...

From the TEMPLATE page, go to the box SETTINGS, select the PDF tab, and enter the Invoice Number field's shortcode in the PDF NAME text field. You may add more than one shortcode and static text too. (see attached)

Or, use the shortcode parameter as described on the Documentation page, change "name" to the shortcode for the Invoice Number field.
name - Name of downloadable PDF file
Value: (string)
Wordpress/extension shortcodes allowed
Usage: [e2pdf-download id="1" name="name"]

Thanks for the quick response. I changed the name of the pdf file, and it works if I preview template and download it. But it does not change the pdf file name on the details view page. Please see images attached.

You are receiving the expected result when clicking the "PREVIEW" button on the TEMPLATE page, as the button only provides a preview of the raw merge template, not a merged PDF with data.

To view a merged PDF with data you must use the EXPORT button on the EXPORT tab after selecting the "Template to use" and "Dataset to export" or use the E2Pdf shortcode to create a link to the merged PDF. Then you will see the data results you are looking for.

We just released an update (1.04.01) which must solve issue with "filename" on [e2pdf-view] shortcode. Update please plugin to latest version and let us know if you face any issues with it. Thank you.
