Hi,

Which E2Pdf shortcode do you use to output PDF on the page? Does it set the "Inline" or "Auto Download" option at E2Pdf Template settings? Screenshot attached? Do you need to force PDF download or view?

Does it same behaviour at https://demo.e2pdf.com/wordpress/?

"Auto Download" option must be turned off.

We need answers to the questions below please:

1. Which E2Pdf shortcode do you use to output PDF on the page?

If you are using just [e2pdf-view] shortcode it must not offer PDF download.

Also can you please provide us URL so we can see the error message and test it from our side?

Unfortunately, we can't replicate the issue, and it looks like it's something wrong with your browser or extensions... It works correctly for us in Chrome / Firefox / Opera (Windows 10).

Can you try to use "Incognito" (private view) mode to see if it still will show an error message? Or if you have access to another PC, check with another computer.

P.S. If you are using any download managers - try to disable it temporarily to see if it will work or not.

P.P.S. You can also try to set the "Inline" option "On", however, it must not affect the viewer.

"Inline" option will work with [e2pdf-download] shortcode used:

When "On" - PDF will be opened when the link is clicked in the browser (when possible)

When "Off" - PDF will be offered to be saved when the link is clicked.
