Hello Everyone,

Is there a way to pass the shortcodes through a email fax call? For example: In a normal email I can send a fax to [email protected] with an attachment and when I do it passes the attachment as a flattened attachment in the fax. Is this something that E2pdf is capable of? I have tried multiple times and it WILL pas the form entries... but not the E2pdf overlay of info onto it's template.

Hi,

Unfortunately E2Pdf was not tested with myfaxco.com.

Can you please clarify some information:
1. If you set in Formidable Forms just your email, will you get mail with PDF attachment?
2. Did you try to set E2Pdf Template "flatten" option to "yes"?

Haha... I apologize, I was using a "generic fax company name" when using faxco.com. The actual service I use is called Metrofax. So I would send faxes using [email protected].

Answer 1: I DO get an attachment BUT it is ONLY the field answers. It is not "wrapped" in the 2pdf form template.
Answer 2: YES I am flattened and the "generate appearance" is checked.

Sorry, it's a bit unclear, what do you mean by "you get attachment but only the field answers and it is not wrapped". Can you attach PDF which you get?

When you are using [e2pdf-attachment] shortcode inside Formidable Forms mail action it must generate PDF based on your mapped E2Pdf template and must be attached to email as on our demo: https://demo.e2pdf.com/formidable-forms/. (screenshot 1)

If you do not get attachment at all then recheck if you are using correct E2Pdf Template ID, it's connected to correct form and activated (screenshot 2).
