Hi all,

Since the last plugin update (Version 1.09.02) all the objects images or html objects with direct links to images are showing distorted or not showing at all. (attached images)

On the back office everything seems to be ok and the images are displayed correctly.

I add also since the update to change the PDF processor to "latest" as some text object where not aligning correctly.

Thank you for you help on this problem.

Hi,

Can you please share a link to any of such image? It looks like plugin can't access images or they have incorrect "http" response.

P.S. PDF Processor must be set only to "Latest". "Dev" is used for testing and migration of our backend engine so it could show any unpredictable results if this option changed.

We would really appreciate your feedback at WordPress.org!

Hi Oleksandr,

Thanks for your quick response,

The website is on a dev server and not accessible from outside, could it be for that reason?

Strange is that before the update everything was working and showing ok.

The website will be live in a few days so then it should be solved automatically.

Thanks!

If server is not accessible from outside it must not affect rendering images as firstly E2Pdf also trying to load images locally if same domain used. As I see from your screenshots, E2Pdf can't access images and is showing text instead.

If you will use url from web as image source, will it render? For example: https://e2pdf.com/templates/default/img/logo2.png

If you are using urls like: https://local.dev/1.jpg and you have access to ssh, you can try to check if image is accessible from server via command:
wget https://local.dev/1.jpg

Also you can create and map another image and make it bigger to see which text is rendered instead of image, it could have some information about error or can help in understanding issue.

We would really appreciate your feedback at WordPress.org!

Hi Oleksandr,

Just tried to insert the url you send and it works. Tried also with other images url and it´s fine.

I am almost certain that it is a domain name related issue as i am using a modified host file to virtualize the dev website.

I will make the domain name change in a few days and i am almost certain that it will solve the issue.

If not... I´ll be back! :)

Thanks!
