Switch site with license code not working

Hello, I have a 10-Templates-License activated. This license is working on one website. I want to change the website now.

In the submenu "license" of the E2PDF Plugin is a link called "unlink". I think this "unlink" button is meant to do the job. But it doesn't work. I'm getting the error message: "License allow only: 1 site(s). Already activated: 2. Please deactivate some to fit the limit." But this is not correct, I've no other site activated, yet.

Please tell me how to unlink the current website and activate the new site OR do the job for me please. I can tell you the URL of the new website.

Best regards,
Christian

Hi,

"FREE" License Key allows only 1 Template to be activated at same time so to revert website to "FREE" License Key it must fit its limit.

- You can deactivate Templates via your "WordPress site" directly: "E2Pdf" > "Templates" by clicking on "Activated" link. (screenshot 1).

OR

- If you do not see there any activated templates, you can deactivate needed from your "Dashboard" > "Sites" directly, by clicking "expand" icon and clicking "trash" icon near "E2Pdf Template" name. (screenshot 2)

After deactivation it must not be any issues with "unlink" of License Key.

Ahh, I have to deactivate the template first...okay that makes sense. Thank you very much for the clean description and the screenshot!

Another question: In the meantime I've exported one of the templates and imported it to the new site. Because one template should already work with free license.

The template is working with formidable forms. So I have exported the fitting form from the old website and imported it to the new one, too.

Unfortunately I can not see any of the imported entries with E2PDF. Here is the shortcode I am using:

[e2pdf-view id="4" dataset="[id]" height="1000"]

What is your suggestion to solve this problem?

I've already changed the id of the e2pdf-view to the new id. But obviously the IDs of the imported entries has changed, maybe this is the issue?

If you imported form separately from "E2Pdf" Template, please follow this steps:

1. Check if Template activated

2. Go inside "E2Pdf Template" and check whether "Item" is connected to "E2Pdf Template". If you see there "None" or incorrect form name, just click "Options" and choose correct "Form". (screenshot 1)

3. Recheck the IDs of Mapped fields, as if you did not use "Field Keys" instead of "IDs", they might be changed due the way of Formidable Form import backups. Remap them if needed.

P.S. E2Pdf works with entries directly from "Formidable Forms", so recheck also please if entries were also imported with backup of your "Formidable Form".

Yieehaa, it's working fine now. Tip number two (and the screenshot again) was decisive. Thank you very much for your quick help! Great support.

P.S. As I was testing some plugins to do this job (creating PDF's through wordpress front-end) I was struggling with E2PDF because the documentation is not complete. I had several simple fails like the ones we were talking about.

After everything is working and using e2pdf for about 6 months now I can recommend the plugin without doubt. But maybe you can improve the documentation in order to help more (future) customers like me. Perhaps it helps to read that through the eyes of a costumer :-)
