I have a cloned copy of my site for testing purposes so as not bother the live site. Can I load the license to both areas as they are on the same domain just in different folders. In other words will the one license work on both installations?

Hi,

License Key connects to domain name that is used in "Settings" -> "General" -> "WordPress Address (URL)".

Unfortunately, If it will be different, it will be not possible to use same License Key (if it issued for 1 site) for 2 domains at same time. If "WordPress Address (URL)" is different and you will need "Activated Templates" on both sites you will need 1 License Key for 2 Sites, or different License Keys for each site.
