Hello, I set up E2PDF on my development site and got it working perfectly. I then cloned the site to the main URL and now the license key says that it is the wrong URL. How do I fix this without losing all the work I did creating the PDF?

Hi.

Just to be sure that you will not loose anything, make backup before going via steps.

1) Deactivate and Activate plugin on plugins tab. (NOT REMOVE)

2) Go to Dashboard > Sites, add website with "+" and confirm that you are the owner.

After this steps you must see the website in the list with free license key. Copy this free license key. Go to "License" tab and change license key to that one. It must drop activation to correct url.

After this steps installation must be corrected. If not, or any error on any step, please create ticket via this form with new website url.

I tried to go to " https://e2pdf.com/dashboard/sites, add website with "+" and confirm that you are the owner. " and when I did, I get a pop up that says URL not found.

OK, I got that to work. (I neglected to reactivate the plugin. But now it won't verify. I have uploaded the html file to the root directory of wssra.org. but it is not finding it, "File not found. Please recheck if it's available"

I can go to https://wssra.org/************************.html and see the file.

Thank you for that. Now the license is working, but the plugin isn't
I put the shortcode into the message section of the form. When I fill out the form https://wssra.org/forms/scholarship-application/ and get to the success message everything is there except the link.

Here is what is in the message section:

Congratulations! Your responses were successfully submitted.
Please download the application with the link below and mail it to:
[810]
➪[e2pdf-download id="2"]

That stripped out the html for the message section.

Check please if you are using Paid License Key with paid Formidable extension on new website. Note please that paid extensions are connecting to License Key and it's just one time payment.

If you have already such License Key, just activate it on needed website and recheck if template connected to needed form on Templates menu, if not, just go inside E2Pdf -> Templates -> Needed Template -> Options and choose needed form.

If you have paid License Key without Formidable Forms extension, you can update it at any time from Dashboard > Licenses menu on site or add it to License Key from Extensions List.

If you need new License Key, you can buy it at https://e2pdf.com/price and do not forget to include Formidable Forms extension.

Just yesterday I purchased the $10 license for one site and one form. I don't know what you mean by paid formidable extension. Don't I have that? To make sure this plugin would work for me, I bought a $2 license that expires in June. Did that have some extension that I need?

You need also to add paid Formidable extension to new License Key and activate this License Key on new website. To Add extension you can go to Dashboard > Licenses, choose needed License Key and click Upgrade. On the bottom you will see Paid extensions that you can buy, including Formidable.

By the way if you don't need to use previous License Key on old website, which as I can see have Formidable extension, you can remove this License Key from old website and use it on new one. But keep in mind that on old website Formidable shortcodes will stop to work.

To drop License Key on old website just go to E2Pdf -> License -> Change and leave field empty. It will drop License Key for old website and you can use it on new one. After this just activate this License Key on new website.

That worked. I have one more question. When I get the downloaded PDF, there are a series of check boxes that are required to be checked in the form, but the pdf only shows the first one as checked. why is that?

Glad to hear it.

Check please if they are mapped correctly and have correct Option Values according checkbox values in the form. Try to remap them with Visual Mapper. If it will not work, you can send access details so we can review via this form.

Also check please if you are using the latest version of plugin. (0.01.44)

I mapped it a couple different times using auto PDF. I just created a user for you and you should get a password by email.
