the client likes how the preview of the PDF looks here:

Is it ok to give out the view URL for usage as it lets the user type directly on the PDF or is it best to just let the user go through forminator?

Hi,

Sorry, what do you mean by type directly? E2Pdf plugin merges data from Form to Pdf.

What will happen when user will type directly in PDF? In that case you don't need to use any plugins and you can pass links directly to needed PDFs.

View and Preview is for admin users. For frontend users plugin generates URL with filled data or without.
