Hi Support,

I use gravity forms and one of my forms has several list fields, which allow infinite addition of rows. The fields are in the middle of the PDF document. How can I allow these fields to expand for as many rows as are entered by the user without overlaying other bottom content. Can the template be elastic to accommodate increasing number of rows of the list field of gravity forms. Kindly advice. Thanks!

Philip.

Hi,

Unfortunately E2Pdf currently work only with absolute positions and only "HTML" object can split content over pages (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SZNxz_JZ3d0) but it will not fit your needs as other elements doesn't have dependency on other elements. If it will be placed as last element then it could work.

In theory you can also try to apply "Actions" and "Conditions" to move other fields upper/down (with +number, or -number from current position) and hide empty rows depending if element value filled but if you have a lot of elements/"repeatable" fields it can require a lot of "actions" to be added.

We are working to extending E2Pdf to allow using "relative" positions but unfortunately due the complex of task we can't inform you any approximate time when it will be released.

We remain at your service.
