Dear support,
I have the same problem on my website :
- When I use [e2pdf-view id="1"] I have the same message and I can't display my pdf
- When I use [e2pdf-download id="1"] I can display my pdf but I can't dowload this.
- I have any problem when I use [e2pdf-attachment id="1"], I can download the file from my email box

I have read the answers given but none of them has met my expectations yet.

Also I use api3.e2pdf.com (EU) as API server.

Thanks!

Marion

Hi,

Can you please share the PDF download URL which is generated via [e2pdf-download] shortcode so we can try to open it from our side and see which error appear.

P.S. You can mark message "Private" so only we can see the message.

We remain at your service.
We would really appreciate your feedback at WordPress.org!

It looks like issue connected with HTTP/2 protocol used on website. We are trying to replicate it on our side. As soon as it will be any news we let you know.

Hi,

Unfortunately we still can't replicate issue on our side with staging environment with gzip and http/2 protocol enabled. Can you please clarify:

Do you use any cache plugins?
Do you use any security plugins?
Do you use any plugins that redirects from "http" -> "https" or enables compression like gzip, etc?
Maybe some custom rules connected to "headers" / "compression" were added to .htaccess?

We see strange behavior on your website when it's request of PDF url via "https", request cancelled, redirect goes to "http" and again to "https"...
We would really appreciate your feedback at WordPress.org!

Unfortunately without success... It's still generated properly on our side.

Can you please attach full .htaccess to next message?

OR

If it's acceptable for you submit support ticket with WP Admin Dashboard Access Details and FTP Access details here: https://e2pdf.com/support/request.

OR try to add to the bottom of .htaccess:

SetEnv no-gzip 1

It must disable gzip as we suspect that issue somehow can be connected with it, but to confirm it's need to disable it,

By adding "SetEnv no-gzip 1" in my .htaccess it works perfectly.

Thanks a lot for your help!

Hi,

Thank you for letting us know, however keep in mind please that SetEnv no-gzip 1 will disable "gzip" compression for all website so we recommend to review your "gzip" settings and enable it only to needed formats like: text/html text/plain text/xml text/css text/javascript application/javascript and not to application/pdf.

We suspect that issue appears due some specified server settings or bug in apache / mod_deflate when "Content-Length" sent along with "gzip" but to have possibility release a fix (if it's not bug in apache / mod_defalte) we need to know exactly what causing such behavior and we must be able to replicate it...
