Replace PDF function stopped working?

Hi there I was using the replace pdf function just fine a few days ago, but now when i get to "Saved Template will be overwritten! Are you sure want to continue?" i click OK but nothing happens. The file picker does not appear. How can i fix it? (wordpress, theme, plugins are up to date)

Hi,

Which browser are you using? Are you able to create new E2Pdf Template with "Upload PDF" option? Will the "File Picker" appear in this case? Try also please to fully close and re-open browser, to be sure that all things reloaded.

We tried to replicate issue with Firefox, Chrome and Edge but it's working like expected.

Hi Iam using chrome. Yes iam able to create new pdf with "upload pdf". Only when i try "replace pdf" the file picker does not appear. Worked fine before

If it will be acceptable for you, you can submit "Support Ticket" here with access details so we can try investigate the issue.

If not:
- Open please "Chrome" Developer Console (F12) and go on with steps to replace PDF. Check if there any "error" messages in console.

If no error messages, let us know please about result after actions below:
- Try to use "Incognito window" with "Chrome" browser
- Try to use Firefox

Yes this error comes up in the console:

"Unchecked runtime.lastError: The message port closed before a response was received."

It seems the issue can be connected with Installed Extensions on Chrome. Can you please try to use "Incognito window" or "Disable Chrome Extensions" and check if "Replace PDF" will still fail?

Tried using incognito window and disabling all chrome extensions. Replace pdf still wont work

Got it to work with edge. seems to be a chrome issue

It seems we just replicated an issue and it's due the latest Chrome Update. "File manager" not opens from first time and "Upload PDF" -> "Ok" needs to be clicked multiple times to fire.

We are checking now if we can fix it from our side. Thank you for notify us. We will update this thread as soon as get some more info.

We just released an update (1.05.01) which must solve issue with latest Chrome update and "Replace PDF" function.
