When PDF generates, it blocks out field info, but only on meta fields, plus other issues

I have two templates set up, one works perfectly. I needed to use the same template for a different form, so I duplicated the working template. I re-mapped the duplicate with the fields from the corresponding form and when the PDF is generated, the fields that have user meta are blocked out with an overlaying text area (that's what it looks like at least). When I download the PDF I'm able to select the overlaying text area and I'm able to move it. Under the overlaying text area are the user meta fields with the information. Furthermore, the meta fields are duplicated. Also, the PDF file names are not populating correctly. I do have flatten PDF selected as Yes.

Are you sure that you are using a duplicated E2Pdf template without changing the inner PDF?

These white boxes that cover the text - are annotations from the original PDF file. Annotations will be ALWAYS over any text/elements. It seems you were trying to hide the original data with it - but it's incorrect to use "annotations" for this.

To resolve the issue:

You need to download an original PDF file, remove annotations via some PDF editor, remove text or elements that are not required in the Template, and re-upload it: https://e2pdf.com/docs/templates/builder/preset#re-upload-original-pdf. Original PDF can be downloaded with the "icon" that is near "Re-upload".

For the name issue, what is the setting set under "PDF Name"?
https://e2pdf.com/docs/templates/builder/settings#pdf. If it's [e2pdf-dataset] - modify it to the value that you need to be as the PDF name, as by default it will output the Entry ID in case the "name" attribute is missing from the shortcode.

Thank you. I've tried several different versions of the template and I'm still having an issue with the annotation boxes overlaying. I have attached a template I've used. Am I missing something I'm missing? Are there annotations on this template?
